Mel's web site dedicated to angels and spirit guides **NEW** - CHAT ROOM IS NOW OPEN Before you have a look around, I guess I should tell you a bit about me first! I am 19 years old and live in Australia. I have believed in angels my whole life and have always felt a connection with them. When I was about 15, I went through a pretty emotionally draining time and would write to my angels every night before I went to bed. Often the answers to my problems would appear to me in my dreams following my letters to the angels. Things improved for me and soon enough I stopped writing to the angels, though I knew that they were always around. Then in the summer of 2002, I found myself wanting to connect with my angels again. Immediately answering my call, I found myself searching for angels on a search engine. I found a web site for a book on the existence of guardian angels (a site which I can now not find when I try and do the same search!! Luckily I saved the link - http://www.frenchpress.com/chapter1.htm). I ordered the book and waited for it to arrive. A few nights later, I awoke to the sound of a whispering voice. It was far too real to be my imagination. The words were very clear and precise, though I found myself too frightened to understand what was being said. It was a soft, female voice - which shouldn't have been threatening but we often fear what we dont understand. I lept out of bed and refused to go back to sleep. The time was 4.44am. I went on the internet to pass the time until I was supposed to be awake for work. I found a web site called Angel Haven, a site with many forums on the topic of angels. I noticed that there was a forum dedicated to the number 444, as it is a sign that the angels use to get our attention! I browsed through the posts, was interested in the 444 number, but was about to leave and look elsewhere until I saw some posts from Someone (who knows who they are). I felt compelled to email this person. I didn't know if it would achieve anything, but I needed answers and wrote to her on the chance that she could help. She did! Now, only months later, I feel no fear toward spirituality and have grown so much in this short time. I speak to my angels and spirit guides regularly and have even discovered that I am an old soul. I know I still have so much to learn, but I am really enjoying the learning experience and the connection I have with my angels and spirit guides. I have no chosen religion, I simply feel the love and light of God/Spirit and know that I am always being taken care of and provided for as long as I ask :) There is so much more to the story, all the experiences that I have had, but not nearly enough room for me to write them here. I will include some significant ones on the pages with others' stories and some I will simply keep between me, Spirit, the angels that watch over me and the earth angels I have met through Haven. ****Big squeezy hugs
